Start with a clear part description, drawing number and revision. Add STEP/STP files where available and state any critical dimensions, tolerances and finish requirements.
List material grade, quantity breaks, target delivery date, inspection/certification needs, packaging requirements and any commercial constraints.
A good CNC RFQ lets suppliers quote without repeated clarification, which improves quote speed and comparability.
