Terms of Service
Effective date: 19 April 2026
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the SupplyForge platform and related services made available by Supply Forge. By creating an account, accessing the platform or using SupplyForge, you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are
SupplyForge is a manufacturing sourcing platform operated by Supply Forge. Contractual notices should be sent to the contact details below.
- Email: hello@supplyforge.co.uk
- Postal address: [Insert registered office address]
- Company number: [Insert company number]
- VAT number: [Insert VAT number if applicable]
2. Platform role
SupplyForge provides a marketplace and workflow platform that allows buyers to post RFQs and allows suppliers to view matched opportunities, unlock RFQs, submit quotes and manage awarded work. SupplyForge is not a party to the contract formed between a buyer and a supplier unless expressly agreed in writing.
3. Eligibility and accounts
- You must use the platform on behalf of a genuine business or for legitimate business purposes.
- You must provide accurate, current and complete account information and keep it updated.
- You are responsible for account security, passwords, access credentials and activities carried out through your account.
- You must not impersonate another person or business, misrepresent approvals, capability, location or trading status, or create duplicate or misleading accounts.
4. Buyer obligations
- Buyers must provide sufficiently accurate RFQ information, including drawings, specifications, materials, quantity breaks and quote deadlines where relevant.
- Buyers remain responsible for validating suitability, technical compliance, pricing, delivery and contractual terms before placing a purchase order.
- Buyers must not post unlawful, infringing, deceptive or commercially abusive RFQs.
5. Supplier obligations
- Suppliers must only quote where they have genuine capability and capacity to perform the work.
- Suppliers are responsible for the accuracy of profile data, approvals, certifications, response times, commercial terms and quoted pricing.
- Suppliers must not scrape the platform, misuse buyer information, bypass platform controls in bad faith or use SupplyForge to send spam or unsolicited marketing.
6. RFQs, quotes and awards
- An RFQ is an invitation to quote only. It is not an offer capable of acceptance.
- A supplier quote is an expression of commercial intent and does not bind the buyer until a purchase order or other formal contract is issued and accepted.
- Any award status shown on the platform is an operational workflow status and may still require a formal PO, technical clarification, credit approval or other contracting step.
- SupplyForge does not guarantee RFQ volume, quote opportunity, buyer response, award conversion or order value.
7. Supplier plans, launch access and Stripe billing
- SupplyForge may offer a launch-period promotion under which approved supplier accounts are granted temporary full access until a stated end date.
- After the launch-period access ends, the standard free tier permits up to 5 RFQ unlocks per calendar month unless a different limit is clearly published on the platform.
- Paid subscriptions unlock higher usage rights and are billed through Stripe or another stated payment provider.
- You authorise recurring subscription charges where you purchase a paid plan and you agree to keep payment information current.
- Subscription access may be suspended, downgraded or cancelled if payment fails, a subscription ends, or a manual access period expires.
- Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.
8. Acceptable use
You must not:
- upload malicious code, attempt to gain unauthorised access, reverse engineer the platform or interfere with service availability;
- harvest contact information, drawings or commercial data except as legitimately required for quoting or fulfilment;
- use the platform for unlawful discrimination, fraud, bribery, sanctions evasion or export-control violations;
- post content that is defamatory, infringing, obscene or otherwise unlawful.
9. File uploads and confidential information
- Uploaded files may include drawings, specifications, models, images, ZIP files and other RFQ support material permitted by the platform.
- You must not upload content that you are not authorised to share, malicious files, infringing material, or export-controlled/sensitive data unless you have lawful authority to share it with relevant suppliers.
- Each user must treat non-public RFQ information, drawings, models, pricing and commercial discussions as confidential unless disclosure is required for legitimate quoting, contracting or legal reasons.
- You retain ownership of your uploaded content, but you grant SupplyForge a non-exclusive licence to host, process, copy, transmit and display that content as required to operate, secure and improve the platform.
10. Verification, moderation and suspension
SupplyForge may review, verify, remove, suspend or restrict accounts, RFQs, files or quotes where necessary to protect users, investigate suspected misuse, comply with law, enforce these terms or preserve platform integrity.
11. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may modify features, workflows, pricing, services or usage limits from time to time. We may also release beta or launch-phase features that are still being refined.
12. Disclaimers
The platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. SupplyForge does not warrant that every RFQ, quote, directory listing, file upload, match or notification will be error free, complete or suitable for a particular commercial purpose.
13. Liability
- Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, SupplyForge is not liable for indirect, consequential, special or economic losses, including lost profits, loss of business, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill or data loss.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, SupplyForge's aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the platform shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total fees paid by the affected supplier account to SupplyForge in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; or (b) £500.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Supply Forge against losses, claims, liabilities, damages and reasonable costs arising out of your misuse of the platform, your breach of these terms, your uploaded content, or your dealings with other users.
15. Termination
You may stop using the platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately where reasonably necessary. Clauses that by nature should survive termination will continue, including provisions relating to confidentiality, liability, intellectual property, fees owed and dispute resolution.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes relating to these terms or the platform.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the platform with a revised effective date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
18. Contact
Questions about these terms should be sent to hello@supplyforge.co.uk.
